Terms, FAQ and start this week
The agreement in plain words, the questions partners actually ask, and the first move.
The terms, in summary
Definitive terms come with your partner agreement; this is the working summary. The commission structure is being finalised — we share your exact terms directly, in writing, before you promote anything.
- Commission: on the first paid charge of each new subscriber you refer, at the rate in your agreement (this kit shows the proposed structure). Paid on paid subscriptions, never trial starts.
- Payout timing: monthly, with a $100 minimum (smaller balances roll forward — nothing is lost). Each sale becomes payable after the 60-day guarantee window has passed on it, plus a processing period — exact schedule in your agreement.
- Attribution: your partner link, and/or your named code typed at the web checkout. If both ever apply to one sale, the typed code wins — it’s the strongest proof the sale is yours.
- What does not pay: app-store subscriptions (see the rules), your own purchases on your own code, and sales refunded inside the guarantee window.
- Reconciliation: monthly statement; discrepancies resolved from the payment records, in the open, every time.
✕ PPC / paid-traffic policy — standard for the industry, and enforced
- 🔴 No bidding on TMA brand terms (“movement athlete”, “themovementathlete”, misspellings) on any search platform, and no ads that direct-link to our domain.
- Paid social to your own content (your review, your video) is welcome.
- No coupon-site submissions, no cashback listings, no browser-extension distribution of your code. A code that leaks to an aggregator stops being yours — protect it like a password.
Partner FAQ
How do I know my link works?
Publish, then ask us to confirm crediting (the rules’s loop). We verify on the payment records, not a dashboard alone.
When do I get paid?
Payouts run every month, with a $100 minimum — balances under $100 roll forward to the next month. Each sale becomes payable after it clears the 60-day guarantee window plus processing; your statement comes monthly either way.
Can I run ads?
To your own content, yes. On brand terms or direct-linked to our domain, no (see the PPC policy above).
Can I offer my audience a bigger discount?
No — codes and offers are set with us in writing. Ask, though: if your audience needs something specific, we’d rather design it with you.
Can I promote the app instead of the website?
You can mention the app exists, but send buyers through the web checkout — app-store purchases can’t credit you (see the rules).
Someone bought but it’s not on my statement?
Send the date and any detail you have. If the rail missed it, that’s ours to fix and we say so.
Can I translate the emails for my audience?
Yes — keep the claims within this kit’s verified lists and the rules’s rules; the [ADAPT] blocks are yours, the facts aren’t.
What if TMA changes its pricing?
We aim to give partners as much notice as we can before public pricing changes, and we always supply updated facts for review refreshes on request. Promotions can move quickly, so check with us before a dated campaign — one message, quick answer.
Start this week
You now know more about who buys The Movement Athlete — and what actually sells them — than most people who work in fitness marketing. The only part we can’t do is the part that makes it work: putting it in front of your audience, in your voice.
- Email [email protected] — subject “Partner introduction — [your name / platform]” (this kit). You’ll get your code, your links, the email pack, and a real person on the other end.
- Pick the one placement your audience already trusts you for — a review page, a video, an email to your list.
- Publish inside 14 days, tell us it’s live, and we confirm your link is crediting. That confirmation is how you know every sale after it is yours.
We treat partners the way we treat members: no hype, no invented deadlines, every claim checkable. If a sale of yours ever goes missing, that’s our bug — and we fix it in the open.
— Jesse, Head Coach
Two more questions partners ask
Where may I promote, and in what language?
Anywhere, in any language — translating the email pack is explicitly fine. The product and checkout are in English; keep that expectation honest with a non-English audience.
What happens to my commission if my reader refunds?
Commissions hold for 30 days from the first paid charge; a refund inside the 60-day guarantee comes off your balance. After the hold clears, the commission is yours. If a reader asks you the same question: the guarantee is theirs to use, and you would rather have the trust than one commission.
