About TMA & the partner playbook

The Movement Athlete · Partner Marketing Playbook

Everything we know about selling The Movement Athlete. Now it's yours.

The three buyers who actually pay. The story that converts. The ads and the emails that carried the first $1M, the assets to build with, and the claims that keep you safe. Adapt it to your voice — the best partner content has always been personal, never copy-pasted.

Homepage Visuals

Hosted homepage graphics and the published member film.

The homepage assets — yours to use

These are the graphics running on our own homepage right now. Using them means your content looks like ours, which is the point — your audience should recognise the thing when they land on it.

The member testimonial film

Real members, in their own words. The single strongest asset we have for a cold audience — embed it, link it, or point to it in a description.

Share link: https://youtu.be/dK0pzXPu1BQ — use the YouTube link rather than re-uploading, so the view count and the comments stay in one place.

The graphics

The five-phone app showcase

The five-phone app showcase

The default hero. Use it when you need one image that says “this is a real, finished product”.

The wide feature band

The wide feature band

Good as a blog header or an email banner where a tall image would push the copy down.

The assessment and results pair

The assessment and results pair

Use it beside any copy about starting at your actual level — it shows the thing being described.

The progression view

The progression view

For the micro-progression argument. Shows a ladder with the next step visible.

The workout screen

The workout screen

For “what a session actually looks like”.

The skills frame

The skills frame

For skill-led angles — handstands, levers, muscle-ups.

A real member

A real member

A face for member-story content. Real member, used on our own homepage.

Right-click any of these to save it. They are hosted here so they will not disappear when our site changes. If you need a size or a crop that is not here, ask — we would rather make it than have you stretch one.

Original asset guidance

Everything you get, in one place — you shouldn’t have to build a thing.

  • Every image, video and animation you may use → the published Asset Book — real member photos, app screens, exercise demonstrations, badges. Use these instead of screenshotting the product yourself (yours will go stale; ours are current and licensed).
  • The ad creative that actually converted (for inspiration and format guidance) → the Creative Gallery — 302 visuals covering 99.1% of our lifetime ad spend. The headline finding for your own creatives: in our Meta ad data, static images with a clear claim out-performed video on return in every year we’ve meaningfully run both. Simple beats produced.
  • Proof matched to your angle, on request — we keep a tagged library of real member quotes and reviews, searchable by theme, plus 100+ video testimonials. Tell us your angle (injury / skills / parents) and we pull the right ones.
Collage of real member reviews and messages: five-star reviews, a 4.8-star 2,190-rating store card, and member DMs about quitting the gym for TMA
Real member proof — store reviews, messages and comments (first names and handles as members wrote them). Quotes stay verbatim, always.

✓ The testimonial rules

Quotes stay verbatim, are attributed the way we supply them, and are never presented as something they’re not. Never invent, compress or “improve” a member quote, and never reuse a quote you find elsewhere without checking with us.

The rating is 4.8★ — the blended member rating across platforms. Never quote 4.9★ (an old figure, retired), and never attribute the rating to a specific app store.

Everything here is real, cleared for partner use, and hosted — copy a URL straight into your page or email. Use these rather than screenshotting the app yourself: yours will go stale, ours are current.

The one rule that matters. Never generate, mock up or recreate a product screenshot or a testimonial. If the asset you need does not exist, ask us — an honest gap beats an invented asset, and an invented one is the single fastest way to lose an ad account.
Never caption anything as a "real screenshot", "unedited" or "actual capture" unless it genuinely is one, and never submit a composited proof image where a platform asks for authentic customer evidence — ad review, app store, press or a regulator. That is exactly the context where it becomes a problem, and you run ads.

Say this → reach for that

The fastest way to pick an image: start from what your copy is actually claiming.

When your copy is about…Reach forWhy it lands
the assessment / their resultsThe in-app assessment result — a measured level on every movementIt shows the mechanism rather than describing it.
a personalised planThe plan build animationUse the mp4, never the raw GIF — the GIF is 6 MB and will hurt your page.
progressions and unlockingThe skill ladder / progression stripPairs with any 'you start exactly where you are' line.
what a session containsThe six-element workout screenAnswers 'what do I actually do each day?' before it is asked.
going full-screen or hero-sizeThe multi-device mockupThe only asset big enough for a full-bleed hero.
explaining the methodThe brand-system infographics — skill tree, placement, progression, the loopBuilt to be understood without you narrating them.
population / social proofThe members wallScale, without a number you have to defend.
members' own wordsA named member review capture from our live reviews pageReal, published, attributable — the strongest proof in the kit.
one strong proof blockThe compilation testimonial wallWhen you need a single image that does all the proof work.
physical changeA transformation imageKeep the claim modest; let the picture carry it.
the team / coaching credibilityThe coach and team imagesPairs with the physiotherapists-and-coaches line.
press / borrowed authorityThe publication logo stripUse flat, never implying endorsement beyond coverage.

Proof you can publish today

Named member reviews

Around thirty captures from our own live reviews page — real people, real published words, attributable. This is the cleanest proof we have and the best default.

The compilation wall

One image carrying many member voices. Reach for it when a slot needs a single strong proof block rather than a specific story.

Member quotes as text

Every quote in this kit is verbatim and first-name only. Quote them as text freely — never edit, compress or 'improve' a member's words.

Need something specific? Ask for proof matched to your angle — injury, skills, parents, older starters — and we will pull the right ones and send them hosted and ready. One email: [email protected].

Claim limits that travel with every asset

  • Real proof only — no fabricated screenshots, faces, quotes or numbers.
  • The rating is 4.8★, or 4.7★. Never 4.9 — that figure is retired. Say member rating, never App Store rating.
  • The assessment takes about three minutes.
  • "100+ progression levels across the 9 Fundamentals" — the exact total grows, so exact counts go stale. Use the drift-proof phrasing.
  • Never put a person's name on a results screen. Those screens show the engine's output, not a named member.
  • Keep proof legible — never shrink a screenshot of someone's words below about 60% of its native width. Unreadable proof is not proof.
  • Convert before you ship. Never put a 6 MB GIF or an 11 MB video on a page; use the mp4 or webm.
