About TMA & the partner playbook

The Movement Athlete · Partner Marketing Playbook

Everything we know about selling The Movement Athlete. Now it's yours.

The three buyers who actually pay. The story that converts. The ads and the emails that carried the first $1M, the assets to build with, and the claims that keep you safe. Adapt it to your voice — the best partner content has always been personal, never copy-pasted.

We are excited you are here.

Our job is to help you sell TMA confidently. We are sharing our product knowledge, customer research, marketing lessons and creative assets so you can make a recommendation that feels right for your audience.

TMA in 60 Seconds

TMA app screens showing personalised workouts, skill development and progress tracking
A connected training experience: assessment, workouts and visible progress.
What it isA personalised calisthenics training app and an ongoing progression system, not a fixed-duration challenge.
Who it is forPeople who want strength, mobility, body control and meaningful skill progress, with structured training that fits their starting point and available time.
Core promiseBuild a stronger, more mobile and more capable body through consistent, progressive training.
MechanismGranular assessment, microprogressions, effort feedback, integrated holistic workouts and a gamified mastery journey.
Key differenceThe combination: find the right starting point, follow manageable next steps, develop the capacities a movement needs and adjust the challenge as you train.
Strongest proofShow the actual assessment, progression and workout screens, supported by a relevant real member story. Product demonstrations explain the mechanism; member stories illustrate individual experiences.
Safest CTA“Take the free quiz to explore where to start.” Use your issued partner link. The fuller movement assessment happens inside the app after joining.

Current referral clarification: Quiz referral tracking is confirmed. The 50% offer supports a tracked partner link and an optional partner code at checkout. Use the link or code issued to you; do not invent a code or promise a trial on a discount path.

The five cornerstones of the TMA experience

  1. Granular personalisationA different starting point for each movement, not one fitness label.
  2. MicroprogressionsManageable steps towards harder movements and meaningful skills.
  3. AutoregulationYour effort feedback helps adjust the training challenge.
  4. Holistic developmentWarm-up and mobility, skill, strength, muscle, endurance, cooldown and flexibility in every complete workout.

Your Black Friday quick start

A focused preparation hour, once your partner link or code is issued. Campaign terms and dates come from the Black Friday hub, not from a historical email.

  1. Confirm the offer and destination. Read the current campaign terms and use the link or code issued for this campaign. Links, codes and attribution
  2. Choose one audience and one angle. Start with the problem your audience recognises. Customer research · Messaging and angles
  3. Pick the campaign sequence. Follow the existing arc, replacing partner placeholders and matching the dates to the issued offer. Black Friday email sequence
  4. Add evidence that supports your message. Use a relevant member story, a product demonstration or a cleared creative. Browse Ad Copy Examples · Testimonials
  5. Adapt one placement in your own voice. Begin with the email, video or page your audience already trusts. Keep offer details accurate and disclose your affiliate relationship. Publishing rules
  6. Check before publishing. Open the final destination, confirm the offer, replace every placeholder and ask us to confirm attribution. Request a copy or tracking check

The Black Friday sequence is separate from evergreen email resources. The full email database also contains historical campaigns, customer emails and internal analysis; it is research material, not a blanket approval to reuse an offer or claim.

Five principles to carry into your promotion

Five things decide whether a partner earns with us.

Keep these partner lessons in mind. Historical audience-size and performance comparisons below are directional guidance, not predictions for your results. Email opens and clicks alone do not establish sales success. Use the issued campaign terms and the current Product guide when adapting claims.

Everything else in this kit is detail underneath them.

1

Recommend, don't broadcast.

Ten years of our own sends say the same thing: a plain story about one member out-performs every promotional format we have ever used — by a wide margin. Your audience buys your genuine experience, not our banner.

2

Aim at the right person.

Our highest-converting buyer is the 35–45 professional training around a setback. A 20k audience full of them will out-earn a 200k general-fitness audience. The targeting sheet is the next section.

3

Know which offer you are sending them to.

We run several routes in — the quiz, the free trial, and discounted windows — and most of our sales come through a discounted offer, not list price. List price is the anchor the discount is measured against.

Match the offer to the temperature of your audience: a cold audience usually needs the quiz, a warm one converts on a window. The funnels section sets out each route and what it is for.

4

Use your link everywhere.

Only a click through your partner link, or a sale on your code, can be credited to you. App-store purchases cannot be credited at all — always send buyers to the web.

5

Disclose, always.

A clear "I earn a commission if you buy through my link", or #ad, on every placement. It is the law in the US and UK, and it does not hurt conversion.

The fastest start: pick the ONE placement your audience already trusts you for — a review page, a video, an email to your list — and build that first. One placement a month beats ten in a launch week: the review page compounds, the sequence converts, the video keeps referring for years.
